My Card Doesn't Work

My Card Doesn't Work

Trouble with your card? The information below will help to ensure you are using your card and accessories correctly.

Mobilo cards are compatible with a large variety of devices. If you do not see a device listed below, you can use the QR code on your card.

NFC is automatically activated for iOS:

Apple – iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, plus all future models.

Reading NFC tags with the iPhone 8 or X will depend on the version of the operating system. If you have the latest iOS 14 operating system, you should be able to read NFC tags, just turn on NFC Scan mode from Control Center and hold the top edge of the phone over the tag.

With iOS13 or earlier, the 8 and X iPhones cannot read NFC Tags natively. This means that while these generations of iPhones can read NFC tags, they can't do it out of the box.

For Android phones NFC has to be switched on and works with:

You can place the Smart Button accessory on the back of your device. This can be placed on the device case or on the device itself. The Smart Button’s placement is not required to be on your phone, but if it is, we advise to place it towards the bottom.
